Our Focus
Some say “they don’t build ‘em like they used to” but even back in the day, there were things that could always be improved upon. At Rust SpeedShop, this is exactly what we have set out to accomplish.
The focus of every truck we build is “how can we showcase this particular truck’s personality, with its factory options, and where can we improve the performance of this vehicle?”
It’s one thing to take a truck, chop it up, make it something custom and nearly unrecognizable from what it was originally. However, it’s an entirely different thing to transform that truck, with all its original personality, into something so much better while highlighting what made that original truck so unique since the day it was born.
What Sets Us Apart?
We don’t take an old truck and make it new. We take an old truck and give it flavor and soul. We add some spice, with some naughty and nice.
Once we have completed your classic car or truck restoration or rebuild, your vehicle will leave our shop in tip-top shape, ready for a show ‘n go, or a Sunday drive down the highway. Every truck is unique. Every truck has a story. Sometimes that story is written in dents and dings, and if it’s a cool enough story, it will leave our shop as a patina truck, waiting to tell you it’s story.
Some trucks may be so clean when they show up at our shop, they are begging to become an award-winning show truck and so that is what they become.
It’s the truck’s story that we listen to.
It’s the truck’s story that we follow throughout the build process, and it’s the truck’s story that we have set out to preserve and showcase in every project we complete.
